So with Autumn coming to an end and Winter fast approaching, We are exited to be bringing The Detective back for the festive season as we've been working tirelessly throughout the year on what we promise is something that is defiantly not to be missed!! So what's coming up within the next coming weeks? Read more below ....
The Detective Specials | The Desertion of Mrs Lyons (2018) ᴴᴰ
8 years ago, The Detective started with a pilot episode called 'The Holiday Murder'. And in celebration of this occasion, We have been tirelessly working on a special episode filmed in various locations around the United Kingdom, Majorca and Menorca, taking us back to where Detective James had his very first on screen case in this action filled episode.
Set 3 weeks after 'The Demise of the Enemy', after leaving the country, Mrs Lyons is nowhere to be seen. And with nobody sure of her whereabouts, Detective James must find Mrs Lyons and fast as MI9 is struggling to keep on going without her. Sir Robert S Black who is taking over Mrs Lyons job temporary is struggling to keep the fort together, so it’s vital that James finds Mrs Lyons, as the British Secret Intelligence Service struggles to carry on without her.
But after the recent events, is Detective James intentions really on bringing her back home and does Mrs Lyons actually want to come back? or has she turned her back on her country forever?

The Detective Audio Stories | Secrets & Lies (2018)
After a 2 year break, The Detective is back for another Christmas Special! And we are exited to be bringing you a story that is told in 3 parts, As we are going to be telling this festive story in weekly episodes throughout the course of December.
With a jaw dropping cast of 12, This storyline is the gift that keeps on giving. With of course the characters we already know from the main series returning, we are also really lucky to be welcoming some new voices in this festive audio drama! and we're going to be releasing the casting announcements prior to each episodes release over on our Facebook page. So do keep an eye out for those, as we have some amazing talent joining us this year!!
1. The Detective Audio Stories| Secrets & Lies | CAPTURED!
It's Christmas 2016, and Detective James is all set out to finally have a peaceful Christmas this year along with his friend Leo Jackson, but trouble comes to his door step, It's Mrs Lyons! Completley ignoring the banishment she got from James earlier on in the year, She wants to make up for the past as well as get her job back at MI9. She begs James for forgivness at what is traditionally known as the time of the year to forgive and forget.
Refusing, James throws Mrs Lyons out but unaware to the both of them is a criminal gang outside to kidnap her under the strict instructions of John Burke. With the help of his friend Leo Jackson, Will Detective James have the heart to save Mrs Lyons from his venmous farther, or is she as good as dead?
Starring Lewis Wheelhouse as Detective James, Val Wheelhouse as Mrs Lyons and Connor Chadwick as Leo Jackson.

2. The Detective Audio Stories| Secrets & Lies | The Impossible Choice
Knowing how John Burke has previously abused Mrs Lyons in the past, Detective James heads off to save his mother who is in danger and Leo wants to help, But James doesn't want to continue putting his friends lives in danger, So Leo is forced to stay behind.
Time is running out and Detective James must get to Mrs Lyons and stop John Burke and fast before he attempts to hurt her in a revenge plot for James killing his Farther back in 2001.
Meanwhile Leo receives a call from Dark Angel with a job for him in order for him to get his sister Tilly back, who was kidnapped by Dark Angel 6/7 years ago, leaving Leo and his family utterly traumatised. Dark Angel wants Leo to plant a bomb in Detective James house as he plans on killing him, So Leo has to make an impossible choice as to who is going to die, His friend or his sister!
Will Leo sink to Dark Angels level by betraying his closest friend in order to get his sister back?

With James stuck in the middle of rush hour traffic in the busy streets of London, he decides to take to the underground but with John Burke already starting to get aggressive towards Mrs Lyons, Is Detective James going to be too late to get to her rescue on time?
Meanwhile Leo has is own problems to put up with. After recent events, he carries around with him mixed emotions of guilt, shame, anger and sadness, And therefore wants to end his own life. With no hope of getting his sister Tilly back no more, Leo is feeling worthless and feels resonsible for the abduction of his sister. Can anyone save him before an innocent victim in all of this takes to the plunge?
Starring Lewis Wheelhouse as Detective James, Val Wheelhouse as Mrs Lyons, Connor Chadwick as Leo Jackson, Ashley Wheelhouse as John Burke, Dale Hooley as Dark Angel, and Megan Shirley as Tilly Jackson.
